The concept:

 

Why is clothing stores divided into male and female? Why does sizes vary so much? Why is it difficult to find good quality basic garments that lasts? Why is it so hard to find sustainable clothing? These are the questions I asked myself before I created BARK OSLO.

 

The concept BARK OSLO is a unique clothing brand witch is not only revolves around size and gender, but about individuality. BARK OSLO does not utilize sizing, each garment are custom made for every customer. The customers are professionally measured in store and receives a profile with these measurements.

The name BARK comes from nature and will come full circle since the brand focuses on materials that are collected form nature and can be put back. What goes around comes around. BARK is the trees clothing and is there to protect it. Birch and spruce have different bark, like us humans caries their own identity in our personal style.

The bark is something the trees caries their whole life, this is the philosophy of BARK OSLO. This will reflect in the high quality garments that are made to last, and are the building blocks of everyday clothing since the brand solely focuses on basics.
